Theta Distractions is the fifth album from Lawrence, Kansas electronic duo CVLTS. Though this is the first time I have reviewed CVLTS, they are one of my favorite electronic artists. Theta Distractions is a collection of moody and complicated sonic lanscapes. Darkish in feel, but not transparently so, the seven tracks flow one to the next transporting the listener through a scenic journey of tones and textures.
