Trifles & Events Are Your Concern is the sophomore album by German band Fun Fare on indie label Spati Palace. The 8 tracks are pst-punk masterpieces with elements of synthpop and a bit of Krautrock. The vocals of Julia Boehme have a riot grrrl feel, that coupled with the 80's new wave feel of guitarist/vocalist Friedrich Gunther, gives the album range from Joy Division darkness to thoroughly modern pop punk stylings. This is an album of depth, with interesting variety and an engaging demeanor. A must have.
