Swedish indie label, Peter Out Records, bring us Double Echo, the third album from Liverpool, UK based Period Rooms. The band melds darkwave with an 80's new wave vibe to deliver a nice retro album. The ten tracks feature a prominent bass player which gives the music focus, surrounded buy solid drums, understated synths and stylish melodic guitars, all of which frame atmospheric vocals that are laid well back in the mix.
