I Can't Alone is the third EP from Helsinki band The Fisherman & The Sea. The five tracks are crisp, clean rock with a bit of a folk edge that recalls the best of Death Cab For Cutie. The first thing that strikes you about this EP is the pristine production, which give the vocals and instruments an immediately compelling presence. A presence that is well deserved with catchy, engaging songs, towering harmonies and a stylish delivery that strikes a perfect balance between polish and edge.One would expect a band to reach a certain maturity by their third release in, but what you get here is a band hitting the peak of its powers, showing they are force to be reckoned with and also that there is likely a lot more where this came from.
