Greek label Inner Ear Records brings us 2AM, the sophomore album from Athens based Daphne and the Fuzz. the eleven tracks offer up inspired synthpop, with bluesy/jazzy/pop vocals and ingenious instrumentals. The songs are catchy and radio ready, with substantial variety in feel and mood. Imaginative synthesizers and just enough beat to keep things moving along mark this record, that eschews all the current cliched sounds of the genre to deliver an album with taste and originality.
