Disagreements is the new album from Canadian band Bitter Fictions on Calgary indie label Shaking Box Music. The seven tracks are dissonant and discordant guitar explorations, that unfortunately fail on many levels. Mostly lacking the melodic or atmospheric qualities of the well made ambient music or the more formal song structure of noise rock, the EP offers little to engage with the listener. While there are definite artistic elements to the pieces, there is also little demonstration of musicianship.
