Have A Nice Day is the new album from Ontario based singer/songwriter Nick Ferrio. The eight tracks are nice, jangly indie rock, such as one would expect from Mac Demarco or The Hold Steady, though a bit more limited sonically and stylistically than either. The songs are catchy, but the hooks are a bit week in delivery and the recording could benefit greatly from a bit more energy. The performances both instrumentally and vocally are good, with some especially tasty guitar licks. As a whole the album is solid and enjoyable, but also a bit underwhelming.
